How to support the Friends of the New Gloucester Public Library:
Become a member. Help fund programming, books purchases, and encourage reading in our community. Membership is tax-deductible.
Volunteer. Work at book sales, on a specialized committee, bake sales, run a book group, offer a drawing class, make a presentation on downloading books or writing a resume—bring your ideas!
Make a donation. All donations are tax-deductible and you can donate directly through the PayPal link.
Follow the Friends on Facebook and Instagram. Stay up to date on what the Friends are doing.
Speak up for the library. Let your local, state, and federal representatives know how important your library is to you, your family, and your community.
Some of our recent efforts include:
Supporting book purchases for the library.
Raising funds through book sales, donations, and membership dues.
Supporting summer reading programming and book clubs.
Beautifying the library grounds with gardens and a renovated community space.
Hosting a raised-bed vegetable garden class.
Participating in town events, such as the Community Fair and Tiny Timber tree lighting.
Please visit our events page to see more of what we do, fill out a membership form to join us, or contact us directly for information.
All are welcome!
