What We’re Looking For:

·        Children’s books

·        Adult fiction and non-fiction
Donation Guidelines:

·     Please limit donations to two cartons or four grocery-sized bags

·        Containers will not be returned

·        Library staff are unable to assist with unloading donations

·        All materials should be clean and free of odors, mold, and mildew

                        Items we cannot accept:

·        Reader's Digest Condensed books

·        Encyclopedias

·        Textbooks

·        Magazines

Bookworms and bakers, rejoice! Our annual Fall Book and Bake Sale is back, and it's bigger than ever. Dive into a treasure trove of gently used books and indulge in delicious homemade treats.

National Friends of the Library Week

October 15 -21, 2023 is Friends of the Library week!

The Friends of New Gloucester Public Library will be hosting a party to thank all the Friends for all their (fun!) and hard work over the year.  Friends work throughout the year on many projects--whether it's beautification projects for the library, fund-raising for book purchases, advocating for the library or supporting our two annual book sales--you'll find the Friends involved in it all.  Interested in becoming a Friend?  Click here. Join us at 3 PM on October 15 at the New Gloucester Public Library for refreshments & chance to say 'thank you.'
